Busworld 2025 impressed with its scale. Covering 85,000 square meters across nine halls, 550 exhibitors from 40 countries presented 252 buses and coaches. At stand no. 502, our company showcased three vehicles: a 12-meter electric bus, an 18-meter hydrogen bus, and – making its world premiere – the 10,5-meter electric bus.

THREE VEHICLES, ZERO EMISSIONS

Urbino 10,5 electric

Busworld sets trends and indicates the future directions of public transport development. Therefore, we could not have chosen a better place to unveil our latest model! The premiere of the Solaris Urbino 10,5 electric, a battery bus of a new length, took place on October 3 during the press day, one day before the official opening of the exhibition. The vehicle was presented at a press conference led by Agata Stańda, CEO of Solaris Bus & Coach, and Dariusz Michalak, Chief Technology Officer.

The new model was designed with cities that need flexible solutions in mind. At 10,5 meters in length, the newest Solaris can carry up to 85 passengers – a record figure for its class. Another major advantage of the new model is its range. Equipped with Solaris High Energy batteries with a capacity of up to 400 kWh, the bus can travel more than 600 kilometres on a single charge, according to eSORT tests.

On the same day, our bus received a prestigious distinction – the Sustainable Bus Award 2026 in the “Urban Bus” category. The jury recognized the vehicle’s innovative design, its contribution to sustainable public transport development, and its alignment with the needs of urban fleet operators. We could not have imagined a better way to end the premiere day!

Urbino 12 electric

At our stand, we also presented two Solaris flagship zero-emission models. The first was the Solaris Urbino 12 electric, our most popular electric bus, already operating in dozens of European cities. The latest version of this model was awarded the Sustainable Bus Award 2025, confirming Solaris’s leadership position in the e-mobility segment.

Urbino 18 hydrogen

Ostatnim prezentowanym pojazdem był Solaris Urbino 18 hydrogen, czyli przegubowy autobus wodorowy, zdobywca prestiżowego tytułu Bus of the Year 2025.
