81 e-buses – Stockholm for the second time
  • The VR AB carrier’s order includes 81 Urbino 15 LE electric models, which will join the fleet serving the Stockholm region in Q2 2026.
  • Class II vehicles with Solaris High Energy batteries will provide residents with eco-friendly and convenient rides on suburban routes.
  • Once this order is completed, as many as 225 electric Solaris Urbino 15 LEs will run in Stockholm.
89 electric buses for Stockholm
  • Transport operator Nobina Sverige AB has selected Solaris to supply 89 Urbino 15 LE electric buses for Stockholm.
  • The buses will serve both urban and suburban routes in the Swedish capital area and will be delivered in the first half of 2026
  • The order is a continuation of cooperation with Nobina: Solaris has already delivered 55 electric buses to Nobina in Stockholm and 28 vehicles to Nobina Skåne.
  • Solaris, which has been present in the Swedish market since 2003, has already delivered nearly 800 buses, including zero-emission vehicles, including battery and hydrogen vehicles.
Solaris debuts in another country in Europe
  • The Ministry of Transport of the Canton of Sarajevo ordered 10 articulated trolleybuses from Solaris.
  • Deliveries of Trollino 18 vehicles are scheduled for mid-2026.
  • With this order, Bosnia and Herzegovina will join an impressive list of 36 countries with Solaris vehicles.
Wejherowo invests in hydrogen
  • MZK Wejherowo has ordered six modern Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen buses. The zero-emission vehicles will be delivered to the city in 2025 and 2026.
  • The new buses will be equipped with the eSConnect system, air conditioning, monitoring, and the latest safety technologies.
  • This is the carrier’s first investment in hydrogen technology and a continuation of a 27-year-long partnership with Solaris.
Ebus 2025 tests in Bonn
  • We are taking part in the Ebus 2025 comparative tests in Bonn, organized by the German magazine Omnibusspiegel.
  • This year we are presenting the Solaris Urbino 12 electric with a modular drive.
  • The e-buses are being evaluated in terms of driver and passenger comfort, as well as ease of operation and maintenance.
Solaris’ first contract in Canada!
  • We have signed the first contract to supply trolleybuses to Canada for operator TransLink in Vancouver.
  • The contract includes the delivery of 107 units of 12-m trolleybuses and an option to purchase up to 201 units of 12-m trolleybuses and up to 204 units of 18-m articulated trolleybuses.
  • We are the European market leader for trolleybuses, holding over 60% of the market in 2024, and having delivered so far almost 2,500 vehicles.
Toruń expands electric fleet
  • Solaris will supply Toruń with 25 electric buses, with an option to expand the order to 35 units.
  • This is the largest bus investment in MZK Toruń’s history, supported by EU funds.
  • The new Urbino 12 electric buses will hit the streets of Toruń next year.

Electric Solaris buses will debut in Kalisz, Poland
  • Kaliskie Linie Autobusowe (KLA) has ordered 16 Solaris Urbino 12 electric buses, with an option to expand the purchase to a total of 19 units.
  • This will mark the debut of electric buses in the city’s fleet. The contract is set to be completed by May 2026.
  • The order also includes the delivery of charging infrastructure.
More electric buses for Warsaw
  • MZA Warsaw has ordered 50 articulated Solaris Urbino 18 electric buses, increasing its zero-emission fleet to 224 vehicles.
  • The new buses will feature advanced Solaris High Energy batteries and a modular drive system optimizing passenger space.
  • Solaris has delivered nearly 1,350 buses to MZA Warsaw, with a partnership spanning 28 years.
Solaris Urbino 9 LE electric debuts in the Nordic markets
  • Vy Buss, Norway’s largest bus operator, has ordered three battery-electric Solaris Urbino 9 LE electric buses for suburban routes in Oslo.
  • This marks the first order for this model in the Nordic market, with deliveries scheduled for July 2025.
  • The buses will feature a Scandinavian package, including enhanced thermal insulation and special lights.
More Trollino for Solingen
  • Operator Stadtwerke Solingen GmbH (SWS) has decided to purchase more Solaris trolleybuses.
  • This time, 24 articulated Trollino 18 vehicles will join the operator’s fleet.
  • Solaris has already delivered nearly 40 trolleybuses to Solingen, including 12-meter models.
MPK Poznań orders additional Solaris hydrogen buses
  • MPK Poznań has signed an agreement with Solaris Bus & Coach for the delivery of 9 new 12-meter hydrogen buses.
  • The new vehicles will increase the share of zero-emission buses in MPK Poznań’s fleet to over 30%.
  • The buses are scheduled for delivery by the end of April 2026.
