Chopin-inspired Solaris bus on the streets of Warsaw
  • For the duration of the Chopin Piano Competition, a unique Chopin-inspired Solaris e-bus – a Solaris Urbino 18 electric, ran around Warsaw.
  • On board of the specially wraped bus you could listen to the music of Frederic Chopin.
  • The route led from Chopin Airport to Pilsudski Square, where the composer spent his childhood.
Solaris Patronage Classes – 19th edition of the program
  • In Solaris’ Patronage Classes, students gain practical experience at the company’s facilities, and the best are offered employment.
  • In the 2025/2026 school year, 19 new students began training in mechatronics and metalworking.
  • The program is run in cooperation with schools in Murowana Goślina and Środa Wielkopolska.
  • Over 250 people have completed the program so far – many continue their careers at Solaris..
Leipzig chooses Solaris
  • Solaris will deliver 40 to Leipzig by 2027
  • Each Urbino 18 electric bus will accommodate up to 120 passengers and feature High Energy batteries with over 570 kWh capacity.
  • These are the first Solaris electric buses in Leipzig.
Solaris e-buses for the first time in Gdansk
  • Solaris will deliver 30 electric buses to Gdansk – 18 Urbino 12 electric and 12 articulated Urbino 18 electric.
  • These are the first ever Solaris zero-emission buses in the Gdansk fleet.
Solaris Urbino 10.5 electric makes award-winning debut
  • Solaris unveiled the new Urbino 10.5 electric model on October 3, 2025 at Busworld in Brussels.
  • On the very day of its premiere, the vehicle won the Sustainable Bus Award 2026 in the “Urban” category.
  • The 10.5-meter-long electric bus can carry as many as 85 passengers and has a range of more than 600 kilometers, thanks to batteries with a capacity of up to 400 kWh.
96 e-buses for Utrecht
  • Transdev Nederland has ordered 96 Solaris battery buses to operate public transportation in the province of Utrecht.
  • The order includes the shortest Solaris model, the Urbino 9 LE electric, and the longest, bi-articulated Urbino 24 electric.
  • Deliveries will be made in the summer of 2026.
  • This is Solaris’ largest order in the Netherlands. Solaris is strengthening its presence in the country – its vehicles are already running in Arnhem and the Zuid-Holland region, among others.
GZM invests in electromobility – 42 e-buses from Solaris
  • The Upper Silesian Metropolis has ordered 42 Solaris electric buses – 24 Urbino 12 electric and 18 Urbino 18 electric.
  • The vehicles will be equipped with Solaris High Energy batteries and plug-in and pantograph charging systems.
  • The contract also includes the supply of charging infrastructure and fleet management systems.
2 tenders from MZA Warsaw and a total of 129 Solaris e-buses
  • MZA Warsaw and Solaris have recently signed two contracts for the delivery of a total of 129 electric buses.
  • The first tender covers 79 vehicles (29 Urbino 12 and 50 Urbino 18), while the second includes 50 articulated Urbino 18 electric buses.
  • All vehicles will be equipped with a modular propulsion system.
  • Once both contracts are completed, the fleet of Solaris electric buses in Warsaw will grow to nearly 300 vehicles, making the capital one of the leaders in e-mobility in Europe
Solaris awarded two ESG POLITYKA Leaves – including the Gold
  • Solaris was the only company in this year’s edition to win three awards: ESG Gold and Green Leaf, as well as the title of Integrity and Data Management Leader in the “Monitoring and Control” category.
  • The Gold ESG POLITYKA Leaf confirms the maturity and consistency of Solaris’ ESG strategy and actions.
  • The awards were granted based on the EU’s ESRS standard, with the evaluation supported by documented evidence to ensure credibility.
New hybrids for Lublin – Solaris to deliver 20 Urbino plug-in buses
  • Solaris will deliver 20 articulated plug-in hybrid buses, which will be the first of their kind in the fleet of the Lublin public transport operator.
  • The modern vehicles will offer zero-emission driving capability and accommodate up to 120 passengers, including 40 seated.
  • The contract is part of the city’s strategy to promote green transport and increase the share of low-emission vehicles in the fleet.
Hydrogen debut in Plock – 18 Urbino 12 hydrogen buses to join the city fleet
  • These are the first hydrogen buses in the city’s history – they will join the fleet in the first half of 2026.
  • The ordered Urbino 12 hydrogen units are zero-emission buses equiped with a 70 kW hydrogen fuel cell and a range of approximately 600 km.
  • Solaris continues its long-standing partnership with the city – nearly 100 Solaris vehicles have already been delivered to Płock.
7 Urbino 12 electric buses along with the chargers for Wroclaw
  • The vehicles will be equipped with a modular drive, and the 350 kWh batteries that will be charged via plug-in and pantograph.
  • The order also includes the installation of mobile plug-in stations at the Depot on Obornicka St. providing overnight charging for all buses.
  • The buses are scheduled for delivery by mid-2026.
