SOLARIS SHOWERED WITH AWARDS!
Hundreds of meetings, conversations, shared experiences, and inspiration. Our zero-emission vehicles, proudly showcased this year at exhibitions in Strasbourg, Kielce, and Madrid, drew special attention from visitors. To top it off, Solaris buses received prestigious awards and medals. We can proudly say another successful trade show season is behind us!
Attending major trade events is an excellent opportunity for direct interactions with our team, experience-sharing, and discussions on the dynamic changes in public transport and the challenges facing the industry. This year, we took part in three key events: EuMo (European Mobility Expo) in Strasbourg, Transexpo (International Public Transport Fair) in Kielce, and FIAA (Feria Internacional del Autobús y del Autocar) in Madrid.

Mobility Expo
EUMO, STRASBOURG
The European Mobility Expo focuses on public transport and sustainable mobility. During this year’s EuMo, held in early October in Strasbourg, we presented our most technically advanced bus – the hydrogen-powered Solaris Urbino 12 hydrogen, which offers a range of up to 600 km without any emissions at the point of use. The model showcased in Strasbourg was customized for the German operator Rebus Regionalbus Rostock, based in Güstrow, Germany.
International Public Transport Fair Transexpo
TRANSEXPO, KIELCE
During the International Public Transport Fair Transexpo in Kielce in mid-October, we showcased the Solaris Urbino 18 hydrogen bus. Transexpo is one of the largest industry fairs in this part of Europe, taking place every two years. The event provides a great opportunity to present innovative urban mobility solutions.
At Transexpo, our company was honoured with the prestigious Kielce Trade Fair Medal in the “Buses” category for the innovative, zero-emission Urbino 18 hydrogen model displayed at our booth. It’s worth noting that this is not the first award for our hydrogen-powered vehicle. Just a month earlier, the Urbino 18 hydrogen earned the title of “Bus of the Year 2025”, awarded by the international Bus of the Year journalists’ jury.
Additionally, Transexpo in Kielce was the venue for the “Polish Bus of the Year” awards, organized by the popular Polish industry portal transinfo.pl. Solaris won in two categories: the Urban Bus of the Year, awarded to the Urbino 12 hydrogen bus from MPK Poznań, and in the Intercity Bus category, awarded to the Urbino 10.5 mild hybrid from Łódź Metropolitan Railway.
Feria Internacional del Autobús y del Autocar
FIAA, MADRID
The Bus of the Year 2025 winner could also be admired on the Spanish market. The articulated Urbino 18 hydrogen bus was showcased at our booth in Madrid at the end of October during the FIAA (Feria Internacional del Autobús y del Autocar).
In Madrid, on the day before the FIAA began, the Sustainable Bus Award ceremony took place, where Solaris received the top award in the “Urban” category for the Solaris Urbino 12 electric with modular drive. This electric bus features a flexible configuration, optimized battery capacity, increased passenger space, and an exceptional range of 600 km on a single charge (based on the eSORT II test).
